I see very little evidence towards a circle jerk taking place. From my POV prime just referenced something, and Verbatim was aware of the reference. Although, it does raise suspicions that prime would use an old show as a reference out of the blue. Surely some stimuli that reminded her of it must've shown itself, or maybe they talked about kids shows. Either way I have no concrete evidence that suggests circle jerk. If anything, it's masturbation, or a self jerk.

The point is they (and several other users) constantly make posts like this.

Yeah, well, I see the pattern all around me IRL as well. People like to jerk off; that is to say, people like to talk about themselves and think that their content is worth a lot more. "this content that I found should be shared because I found it a bit funny." A computer wouldn't choose that joke because the level of funny isn't high enough, but a human would because they think that because they thought it was somewhat funny, it should be shared.

That's my ignorant stab at it.

Challenger, when you circle jerk it's because the content gets accepted, but it then also gets altered. Circle jerking happens because people find it appealing, then they try to give their own version of it.

From an outsider's POV it's autistic, but in the group, it's a crucial way to feel a fellowship.
