First off, it's not a community. Calling it a cult would be speaking too highly of it. And secondly, you shouldn't be proud of a disgusting, embarrassing birth defect. I get that people can't help it, but they can still get help. Mental disorders are destructive, yes, but most can be treated. And this is one of them.
