I'm starting to get into building and painting scale models as well.

Yeah that's something I'd love to do but I don't think I have the budget nor the space. I'd like to collect replica Stahlhelms and Pickelhauben, though, which sounds pretty feasible.

Replicas are neat... but... it's so hard for me to resist dropping two-fiddy on an original Stahlhelm whenever I visit Hessian Antique to see what's new in the ways of their repro clothing.
