Woke up this morning and did my usual business first thing. Stood in front of the mirror for a bit and ran a hand through my 'fro and noticed a single white strand among all the other dark ones. This is the first white hair I've spotted on my head in my entire life and tbh, it's got me pretty down. I don't like the reality of getting older. I'm still mid-20s but I just dread the years where my body begins to turn on me.

Is there anyone else that feels the same way as I do about aging? How do you deal with it? Am I just being a paranoid shit?

Doesn't hair begin to whiten much later than the twenties? Are you sure you don't have white hair from something else?

I dunno, maybe. My brother started getting white hair at a much earlier age than I did and I only did find one. It could just be anomalous.

Aging isn't the most frightening thing to me although it's very disappointing I missed out on any potential I had as a young adult. I just want to be truly healthy for the first time in my life.
