Fuck man, actually saddended by this. Really used to like Linkin Park, even some of their later stuff. Didn't know he was going through anything or what, but still a shock to me. Expecting Crawling in my Skin jokes but fuck... first famous person death in a while that's made me a bit sad.

Damn. Say what you will about their being edgy and emotional, they had rare talent and he was a good front man. All I can say is I hope he found peace and, like friends and family everywhere who's lost someone to suicide, I hope they find peace after they grieve.

I have a hybrid theory on why Chester killed himself just minutes from midnight. A new divide was formed when his long time friend, Chris Cornell, committed suicide. Instead of growing numb to the pain it brought him one step closer and in the end it was the catalyst for his final masquerade.

I know it may feel like a light that never comes but I think he would want us to feel no more sorrow but until it's gone I'm sure we'll feel guilty all the same.
