No... but I'm conscientious about stepping on insects and on occasion I'll help out one that's struggling. It's a habit from my grade-school days I never really reconditioned.
If I ever see a critter on the sidewalk I always pick it up and relocate it somewhere less liable to get stepped on by kids or people who aren't watching or people who do but just don't give a fuck.
Rescued a spider from my lunch table on a work site one day since he'd never have made it out of that situation alive once all the others sat down and spotted him.
Looking back it's funny, in a weird way. Laughed at for preserving the life of something. I'm not one to understand why it's regarded as a feminine thing to save something small. I understand it even less so that a lame ass thing assigned by society has more importance over something living.
