Okay I'm tempted to treat myself, I seen a baby one of these on ebay and I'm very tempted to buy a third tarantula. Thing is should get another docile species or get this bad boy?

I wouldn't buy slings off ebay. Buy it from a reputable online store, like here http://www.exotic-pets.co.uk (they ship around the world, I bought a flat rock scorpion from here and she is in perfect condition).

They also have a wide variety of tarantulas. If there isn't any king baboon slings, I would wait for a stock of slings to come in. Also, I would consider getting a docile kind if you aren't good with the aggressive types. Pink toes, Chilean roses, Mexican red-knees and Curly Hairs are some of the more docile types that make great pets.

Good to know other people are into the hobby!

Exotic-pets are far from reputable. The guy I buy my slings off is pretty good, he has his own online store as well as his ebay page. I ordered 2 baby t's (pink toe and curly hair) from his ebay page and both arrived in NI alive and well and are both doing great weeks after.

I would only order inverts online, if I want an uncommon lizard or snake I just have to pop down to my local exotic pet shop and they order anything I need. Gonna order a mack snow leopard gecko soon if one isn't in stock. I need a break from monitor lizards.

Well if you know the guy, then by all means. I was going under the assumption that you were buying it from a random seller, my bad. I would only buy inverts online, too. Reptiles are a whole different can of worms. Can you explain how exotic-pets isn't reputable? I wish to be more wary in the future.
