It wasn't as bad as I expected. The subplot involving Vincent D. was a bit tacked on, and I wanted the children to die more than the kids in the original, but otherwise it was alright. 7/10, I would recommend Fury Road over this but if you get the chance to see both do so.

The lead actress though... Sie ist so schön, mit ihr rote Haare.

I found the last 10 minutes with all the dinosaurs fighting quite hilarious. Especially how that Raptor gets thrown through a window and it just explodes into flames haha.

And the fact that a T-Rex and a Raptor had an awkward eye contact moment was just something else.

Then the fucking fish stole their kill.

I thought it was pretty good, but suffered from what most modern movies suffer from.  Something always has to be happening, or they think the audience is going to fall asleep.  But I still liked it.

What bugs the hell out of me, though, is how they can just throw cuttlefish dna into the mix.

Yeah I was expecting Chameleon, but nah just throw some cephalopod into the mix, it'll be fine

They explained that it was so the super dino would survive accelerated aging.

No kidding, I heard that part.  But they said they just throw in cuttlefish dna into a reptile and expect me to believe it?

Never said it was. I enjoyed it to a point, but had somewhat high expectations.

I didn't know what to expect when seeing Mad Max. The older ones were intentionally cheesy with decent plots (excluding the second half of the Thunder Dome).

well if I'm not mistaken there are several real life cases where disparate species of animals have had genes spliced into one another.

Such as bioluminescent rats.


I'm not suggesting that genetic engineering works anything like it does in the movies tho.

depends on what you're looking for in it.

If you're looking for a second Jurassic Park then it'll be bad. If you're just looking for a fun summer blockbuster it'll be fine.
