You're not alerted when you're banned. Your posts don't even show up as hidden when someone enters a thread, they simply don't exist until when the ban expires, which no one except the ban issuer knows. Daz has used it twice on me in a desperate attempt to kick me off the site because he wanted the forum to be an echo chamber for whatever viewpoint he has.

You get one of your posts removed without warning and you get banned for an unknown amount of time, and you don't know who did it. It no longer tells you who the mod is that banned you.

It's not one of your posts, it's all of them. The system pretends that you can still post, but when you submit a post, no one can see it and it doesn't show up on the post count (ie. if you're shadow banned and you post in a thread with 0 replies, it still shows as zero replies).

Some moderators (like Recon and TU) outright ignored using the shadow ban feature. Other moderators (like Daz who doesn't deserve the position) is trigger happy with it since there is little to no recourse to it. Don't like a particular user? Just shadow ban them! They'll never know and you get keep them removed for no justifiable reason!

What the fuck did you do to get completely ultra banned from the site? The only person I know that got ultra banned was Darth Dizor, creator of Robot Factory, in which he created many site bots with modifications in code.
