A) Wrong, and probably haven't watched the first movie in a while

B) Making early judgements, as CG in trailers this early on is almost never indicative of CG in the final product.

Rundown:

Mosasaurus is in, swallows a shark whole
Chris Pratt has some trained Velocis [which are legitimately Nublarensis (JP1 style)]
New dinosaur is a genetic splicing of several Dinos, created to be bigger than T. Rex [from a physical standpoint or a popularity standpoint is unknown, possible both]. Also Dr. Wu delivers the "bigger than Rex" line.

Shots of park in action, and the new dinosaur breaking free

So all in all, weird but sounds like it'll be pretty fun to watch.

I don't see the trouble w/ splicing. It's played a major plot point in the book and first movie, of course they'd take it a step further.
