whey protein isn't all that great. dairy in general is a poor source of nutrients as its intended to turn a small calf into a gigantic bull. cow's milk is of course chocked full of unhealthy fats that are incredibly hard to digest efficiently and also lots and lots of estrogen (pregnant cow -- duh). not to mention all the processing and shit that stuff goes through.
soy protein is my go-to atm. it's chocked full of glutamine, arganine and bcaas. i stayed away from it for the first 2 months but since ive been adding it to my diet, my strength has increased drastically, my muscle recovery time is on point and my food digests faster which means more time for extra meals and more protein intake for the day.
