Yeah there was some stuff I liked post-RoTJ, such as the Empire splitting up into a bunch of squabbling factions, but most of it was crap. Besides, it looks like they're going with the Empire splitting up thing in the new canon anyway, so nothing lost.

It hasn't officially been made canon, but from what I've heard unless something directly contradicts it for all intents and purposes we can consider it canon.

My only foray into Star Wars EU has been Republic Comando. I liked those novels.

Anyway, the only stuff officially counted right now is the films, TCW/ CW and Rebels, and anything produced from here on out.
