Stapleton ghost-wrote the song for McGraw, who turned a country classic into a poppy rock song with a southern twang. This shit is the reason people hate country music these days, now that pop country is basically hillbilly R&B.

Country music is shit though this is a universal fact

I can tolerate old country music, like 50/60 stuff. But modern country is insufferable.

I feel like country music now tries too hard to be country.

I worked a job from 8:00 to 6:00 that wasn't very activity intensive. 90% of the day was you sitting in a chair and watching the road for people coming in.
