The angel agreed to trade a set of white wings for the head of another demon. Overjoyed, the demon killed one of his own and plucked the head right off its still-warm body.

The angel then led the demon to heaven, where he underwent centuries of the cruelest tortures imaginable. Finally, the pain was so great that he lost consciousness - at which point his dark wings turned the promised shade of white.

The canon was out of control. It as a good move to reign it in, though I think they should have included key storylines. And the KOTOR series should have remained canon, since it had zero affect on the New Republic.

For once I'm actually in total agreement with Verb. The EU was fucking awful and I'm very glad that Disney scrapped it. When I first heard about it I was ecstatic.

The EU had its mistakes, yes.

But it had some gems in there too like KOTOR, the Jedi Knight Series, etc. Those should have stuck around at least.

There was a bunch of shit going on with it. There's the comics about the empire being reborn. A book series about that blue alien admiral. The Vong war. The Star Wars Legacy comics. All the prequel books and before that. There's just so many books to it that no normal person could keep up with Star Wars. You would have to be rich in order to read all that shit.

The fucking EU, i read a lot of the books and played a lot of the games and i can say one thing. KOTOR was the only EU I liked, the rest was shit. Now their are some books i did liked in the EU, Darth Bane and The Rule of Two are examples.
