Twelve hours remain until Unlimited Blade Works airs. Just twelve hours until F/SN get's a proper adaption. Over on /a/ we've been having a conversation filled to the brim with nostalgia. Has it really been eight years since we first read F/SN? Wow that time went by fast.

With the 100% completion of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and the Heavens Feel adaptation coming after UBW it really feels like the end of an era. Sure we have this new material coming out, but all of the original stuff has finally gotten it's proper dues. Hell the first two episodes of Unlimited Blade Works are going to be an hour long apparently. I guess after this is over Nasu and Takeuchi will get to work on remaking Tsukihime, it's really been long over due hasn't it?

I wonder how many anons didn't make it to see this day.


For those of you who aren't familiar with anything other than Fate/Zero this probably won't mean much to you. However those of you who have been on this wild ride will understand.

Just over 4 hours now, I'm definitely pumped for this. Admittedly I'm relatively new to the whole Type-Moon and Fate thing, with my first introduction to Type-Moon being Kara no Kyoukai early this year, and to the Fate series being Fate/Zero shortly after watching KnK, but I have also read the F/SN visual novel which I fully read through some months ago, and I found UBW to be a great action packed story route that I'm really looking forward to seeing animated (thankfully I haven't seen the DEEN adaptations of F/SN since I've heard too many negative things about them).
I will also eventually get around to finishing the Tsukihime VN at some point and then I might consider checking out some of the other Type-Moon material but I'm not too sure where to go from there.
