I've fallen on hard times, so it's time for me to return! How has everyone been going?

It's good to see secondclass going strong, recognising some old school names again brings much needed joy!

I'm not sure if I remember you or not. Picture's familiar.

It's been a sketchy few months. I had two miniature heart attacks in the span of a month and we're finding that inflammation is spreading to tissues in my ribcage and separating the cartilege. I'm going to have a bit of a housing problem within two months or so. This week is a banger.

Front tire blew out on my car and I lost control on the ice. I ended up in a steep cattle ditch and nearly rolled the car. Banged up a little bit from the impact. Couple days after I got it out of the ditch I had to drive my niece to the hospital. Docs figured her appendix ruptured. It was a cyst, at least. But two days of driving and being awake the whole time then going back to work is fun.

im alright, just cruising through school. i thought i was supposed to graduate this semester, but apparently i need just 3 more credits, so im a bit bummed about that. my options are (were?) to try to get into a summer class that was already full, or just bite the bullet and do another semester, which would mean id graduate at the end of the year

im not too concerned about the time itd take, but it just sucks ima have to get my parents to spend another $3k just for ONE class

At least I've got all my limbs tho could be worse. Hard out here for a pimp.

Sorry to hear you've fallen on hard times, also happened to me 2-3 times in life but hopefully never again! With age comes experience?

Eh I just got out of the hospital after 8 days of being in there for having an infection in my lung, and now I have to have a fluid draining tube stuck in my chest and take antibiotics for weeks so things have been. . not fun. I guess.

Oh real life......I work at a hotel and people there like me. I am the only tranner working at the front desk all the rest are cis girls

but this new guy Dustin (I actually remembered his name from the Dustin on here lol) screams FTM vibes. His voice and such and I asked him if his hair was always buzzed and he said no when I was a kid it was long

Strep is the worst. I get it too often One time so bad it infected my lymph nodes too. Stay strong king. Wish there were over the counter pain meds strong enough for your plight.

Thanks. I think this is my first time having it. I would be able to go into work and be productive if it just wasn't for the fucking sore throat. Without that I can barely tell there's something wrong with me.

Have you not felt nauseous at all? I've had strep multiple times in my life and every time I would have terrible nausea and end up puking.

I have some very mild nausea but I've only gotten it about once a day so far. Unlike most people, I don't mind if my body throws up because I understand I'll at least feel absolutely amazing right afterwards with the huge rush of chemicals going through my head.

Ah the kind of nausea I would get is the kind that lasts forever and ends up making you dry heave because there's nothing left to come up.

Made some progress on my melting organs. Might have lyme disease. Working on trying to get docs to test me for it.

Dunno how I feel on that. If it is, I'm likely in the later stages, which can't be reversed. If it's not, I come up empty and docs figure despite barely managing to work for two hours before collapsing that it's just in my head and I don't qualify for some assistance. Tough call because I know I can't manage my job and helping family out anymore. I can only do one, barely. Boxes me into a choice I'm not much up for making that I lose at no matter what I pick.

Even if the fatigue and organ damage can't be reversed, I can keep fighting it. But some fucking support from the docs would go a long way. Just once.
