it was a girl and i think it was because one of her parents found a job there (she was a middle school friend)

Yeah, I had a really good friend since 1st grade.  He used to go to my college, and we spent a ton of our time together, and then he started acting weird and just disappeared...
He changed his phone number, deleted his Facebook, etc... and I haven't been able to contact him since.  It's been about 3 years now.

Yeah...

There are quite a few from when I was quite young, I moved schools in Year 2/3 so all of my early childhood friends were left behind. I've been able to find a few of them through family/facebook, but honestly I kind of wish I hadn't <.<

My memories of them from what 12-13 years ago don't really match up with who they are now, as you would expect. I found it too awkward to really talk to them much, because of how much they've changed (And I expect they think the same of me). That's just the way of things though <.<

There are a couple of them that I haven't been able to contact again, and I'm kind of inclined not to. I'd rather just keep the memory of who they were when we were kids than have that destroyed and replaced by something... ehh... that's different.

definitely, the 8th grade best friend

after we finished 8th grade, we talked to each less and less and by the time 9th grade was half way over, we just stopped talking. i haven't seen her in person since  may 2013. :(

i do really miss her and wish she could come to my high school

i wonder if she mentions me to her new friends, cuz i do. i'm always like "ohh yeah i remember when i told her this" or "we barely hugged in like the last months of school" and it makes me miss her even more lol

I only talk to one person I know from high school, and contact becomes rarer and rarer as time goes on.

Nah. I had a group of friends at my last school but I stopped taking to them pretty quickly after I left- mainly because I went to a different school. But I don't really care. The only annoying thing is that I never got my Death Troopers book back.
