It was great. Del Toro put a lot of heart into it and made it a whole lot more than a flashy kaiju flick. It's definitely not on the artistic end of his filmography, but it's a fun variation on the genre.

Pacific Rim 1 one was the greatest cinema experience of my life so far. Seriously, seeing it on the big screen in 3D was fucking incredible.

It was alright, it wasn't anything to lose your mind over but as far as giant monster movies go it was miles above Godzilla 2014.
