it's a matter of personal values and pure logic

you can talk about statistics of people living in decadence to support why life isn't worth living (or people living comfortably as evidence for the opposite) but in general, it's going to be a "i don't think life is worth living" and no one's going to be able to change your mind but yourself kind of thing
