Important forum update!

So the mods and Cheat have been talking, recently we got hit with a copyright claim from Microsoft over the use of the word "Flood". We kept it very hush hush for the past couple of weeks but as we received a cease and desist letter from MS legal team we've made a decision on what to do with the forum, we could have shut this place down but we're such a tight knit little community that Cheat didn't have the heart to do it, so we came to a final decision last night, the Flood will be remained Floof.

Are you referring to Candy Crush? I doubt that ever actually happened, because no courtroom would be stupid enough to actually acknowledge that.

Yeah just googled it, they abandoned it before instead of going through with it but for other reasons not because the court said no. So obviously something generic as Flood could be copyrighted if Candy almost was.

I thought it was serious as I started reading but quickly realised how absurd it was as I continued. But it was still amusing at the very least.
