I've thought about it.

I'd rather be OD'ing on sedatives or hallucinogenics than the more common methods of it...I mean, they hurt. I'd prefer my last memory to be something other than "Ah, this rope on my neck fucking hurts" or "Jesus, this hole in my head is giving me a massive headache"

That second option might not be pretty (neither is), but if I got that far already it probably wouldn't be much of an issue to go the last stretch. It would be a definite kill too.

Jump into a section of wild animals in the zoo and fight with that animal until it either kills me (most likely) or I somehow fight it long enough until the staff comes and saves me.

All the important parts of the human brain are more towards the back than the front. That's also why our spinal cord is in the back.

Skulls protect the brain.. yes, bullets can go through the skull, but if you hit the wrong spot.. you are going to probably live in a horrible state for the rest of your life.

Many people who attempt or do it are doing it wrong and the ones that die, just got lucky.

If you are going to shoot yourself from the front.. you'll want to go through the eye socket or an upward angle through the mouth. The less bone you have to go through, the more maximized result.
