Should I try Rocksmith?

I have a guitar lying around that I don't know how to play. Rocksmith with the cable is like $40 on amazon and I have like $75 in amazon gift cards.

Is it worth it?

Yes, do it.

I've been playing guitar for about 15 years, and I still find Rocksmith fun to play. You can either play along Guitar Hero-style to songs, or go through the lessons. The difficulty of songs changes dynamically based on how well you're doing, instead of being stuck on Medium or Hard or whatever for the whole song.
