I used to be a Communist when I was young, back when I was much more idealistic. But believing in a pure capitalism isn't idealistic, it's just naive. A perfect society blends the best elements of capitalism and socialism.

I never said the middle ground is always the best choice (as is required for it to be a fallacy), and I didn't even say it's the best choice here. The best kind of blend is a capitalism with socialist elements, not the other way around.
