It's not a big deal if you're there a month or so after graduation to get your stuff together, but any longer than that and you're a burden.Depends on the family, my parents don't want me to leave. I know a lot of people who stay at home or live very close to their parents. It's just how some people are raised. You can still be very successful, even potentially happier because of your proximity and role in your familyEh, most parents aren't like that. And besides, it's still a pretty loser thing to do.

But its the best way to get around in the States. In Norway and europe they have a super good bus and train system so you dont need private vehicles as much as you do here in America. In nicaragua I just hitchhiked and grabbed buses everywhere. Unless I walked, which I did a lot of.
