I was actually thinking about this today. In all reality, the entire plot would have to be reworked from the core. No trade negotiations, no clone troopers, no prophecy.

The Clone Wars were never elaborated upon in the OT and the Stormtroopers had to be retconned into being clones, without being able to make any sense.
