Like I said, Parables. He is 2 seemingly conflicting things, because they are in relation to US in the parables.


Parable of the vine and the Branches.
Jesus: Vine   Us: Branches
Those who remain in Him will produce much fruit.
Branches yield fruit.


He is called "The Olive branch" because He through His death on the Cross made a way for humanity to have peace. The Olive Branch is a peace symbol in those times.

These are 2 separate parables though, simply metaphorical. If you combine all the parables and compare them you'll see Jesus as 100 different things.



As for Sharon, I believe it is referring to Solomon's Bride in the book "Song of Solomon".
she calls herself "The Rose of Sharon", indicating beauty and splendor.........or something like that.
