I think I have tinnitus

Got a little wild at a party yesterday and hit the left side of my head on a wood covered metal beam while trying to mimic Vin Diesel's break dance routine.

My left ear has been ringing faintly in the background since I went to bed and its still there in the morn, its not super annoying but something I could live without..

Is this shit temporary?

It will take like a week to heal.
A bottle rocket exploded in my right ear during the new year of 2013. That wasn't a fun experience.

Unfortunately it's permanent. The only way it can go away is if another ringing tone takes over

It can be temporary, but it will have lasting hearing damage.

It can be permanent if repeated damage occurs or it was really serious damage, however

What da fuck, I've been reading that it's mostly temporary after a hit to the head, won't rule this out tho lol.

It's temporary. Do it more and you get used to it. I'll usually have my head stuffed and ringing all next day after a good night with the band.

Granted you are damaging your hearing and that's why its ringing...
