A couple days ago I caught a nasty infection from a family member and now I can't breathe through my nose, have a soar throat, huge headaches and random nausea. On top of that I have non productive coughing.
So I went to the doctor today, and he explained some things to me.

The reasons why I have a soar throat and i'm coughing is because the infection is triggering my Asthma.
There is a chance, a small one, that I have Pneumonia.

I have had Bacterial Pneumonia in the past, it wasn't fun at all, so i'm REALLY hoping the tests and X Rays say I don't have it.

But now I have 4 new medicines I need to take daily, so here is your local sick guy.

i don't get sick often, and even if i do, it's always just a minor stuffy nose or something

I had my mom refuse to take me to the doctor when I was a kid, accusing me of faking it. I had pneumonia for over a week.

Shit seriously? Weren't you puking? That's kinda an obvious sign something's wrong.

My old doctor did something similar, where while I was getting sick and he said it was nothing to worry about. A little bit later I end up puking in a doctor's office, a Wal Mart pharmacy and in my toilet.
So I was wisked off the emergency care where the new doctor right away figured out I had Bacterial Pneumonia.
Let's just say we don't see that old doctor anymore.
