So finally watched the movie and i must say, the movie is fucking fantastic. Great Sci-fi movie with a great story. Also do not focus on the science or explanation of the train and the stuff, this is a pure allegorical piece. Beautifully crafted and straightforward. You will be able to expect everything but man does it do a good job of presenting it's point.

For any of you that have not watched it, watch it.
Was it Ryle who gave me the link, i want to post it here but not sure if it is according to the rules but fuck watch the movie.

Anyway if any of you have watched the movie discuss it.
How did you feel about the movie?

"flaming nipple chops"-Your host, the man they call Ghost.

To say, 'nothing is true', is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say, 'everything is permitted', is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.
I just heard about that movie the other day.
Go watch it when you can.

This.

Also
Spoiler
I know this may be stupid but i felt like the ending was optimistic and had a nice end.
Also i love Namgoon was one of the best characters in the whole story as well as his daughter. Literally this movie has some of the best explanation about humanity itself.

I like hugs and making the world a better place. That and guns. Lots and lots of guns.
And I was the man with the knife...

Funny thing is how you view the end determines whether you are an optimist or a pessismist.

I know but i saw a discussion about it and the details i missed are huge. Like what namgoon speaking in korean represents. Literally it is an allegory of systems and revolutions. And honestly i felt like namgoon was the true hero.

They could've shown like a reindeer or something, y'know, something that wouldn't easily be able to eat them?

It's been on Netflix for quite some time, but I always procrastinate watching it. This week I watched Robocop 1 & 2. Will refrain from watching 3 after seeing the trailer.

Well the Polar Bear did not seem that predatory, and what i felt the reason of the Polar Bear is that it is a well known animal that mainly symbolise that hope is still there for the survivors. Remember there is a huge place to scavenge from, but the point of the Polar Bear was to mainly show that although the world we live in may die life still carries on even humanity will carry on.

Also most people would think the Polar Bear would eat them but knowing how they are a nuisance over here in Canada from them scavenging in peoples trash bins to literally becoming meth heads in some sense. They would more likely ignore the kids and focus on the food they can scavenge of he train from the dead bodies to the leftover food.

Funny thing is in Canada the biggest issue you will have to deal with when it comes to Bears is that they will dig through your garbage bags. Unless they are starving or you are a threat to their cubs do they attack you. Usually they do not.
