Well at least this final wasn't as bad as the Europa one. 15 hand balls and no calls. Wasn't happy with who won, but it was a good game nonetheless.

If you actually judge a player by their first year performance moving from a shit league to the EPL then you know nothing about football.

Everyone gets three years. Especially if they are young. You have to adapt and completely change how you live your life and play on the pitch. People act different, the media takes you differently. Some people are slow to adapt, which is reasonable.

Memphis has incredible potential and always had an impact when we was played, always good aside from the header mistake. LvG lacked faith in him, but he always played his heart out.

In short, not enough to make any judgements. He simply needed to adjust and gain his confidence but the management wasn't there to give him that.

I think the one thing that bothered me in this game was Pepe just flopping like an idiot and the referee going "Yeah, no." since he deals with this crap in England.

Still think the English refs are some of the best. MLS/any CONCACAF are atrocious .
