If anyone knows anything about WH40K, it's that if you pit them against anyone with short of godlike powers, they win every time. The Forerunner were powerful. No doubt. But compared to Warhammer? They die, and quickly.

Depends on what part of warhammer we're talking about.

This is The Imperium of Man w/o GEOM vs the Forerunners. No Chaos Gods, no Necrons, no C'Tan, no Tyranids. Just IOM vs Forerunners.
