I grew up in an apartment comlex, where there was a public pool. I had a friend who also lived there, and we would would go swimming in the summer. Well when I was around 7 or 8 we were swimming and she was in the corner of the pool, so I swam over but she quickly dove under and away. When I got to the corner the water was warm, it felt nice on my skin like a bath and the smell of chlorine was strong. Only later I realized she peed in the water when I did it myself a few days later. Pools are typically cold so when I swim through a cloud of pee it warms me up, and I learned that pee makes the chemicals in the water have that chlorine smell that I love. Sense then I love swimming in public pools and I try to swim where people were recently and if the water was warm I’d know they peed.
