I got hit by a car today

I was out cleaning the gurney talking to my partner when he suddenly goes "Watch out watch out watch out!" and I turn to see what he's talking about right as an old lady backs up into me with her car. She stops, backs up a little more, then drove away.

How many of you can say you got hit by a car and walked away?

About 5 years ago this fucking asshole was coming out the the parking lot, he was searching for something on the seats as he was driving. I was walking and this happen to happen between the driveway and the road at piss poor timing of crossing it, and by the time he saw me and stop, I tripped and had my hands on the hood of his car.

He was all like "You okay?" and I was like "Yeah"

Then he drove off and didn't say anything, not even an apology. A woman who saw all that told me I was lucky and that it was his fault.

Looking back at the situation, I wish I was quick enough to get a photo of his license plate and call the cops, but I didn't even think of doing that because I'm too fucking kind hearted by nature.

That's the closest I got to getting hit if that shit doesn't count.

I was hit by a motorcycle barreling down the road on the run from the cops when I was in high school.

My bag broke my landing, but the guy wiped the fuck out and I was sore for weeks.

After I got hit by that motorcycle I stood my ass up and picked the dumbass up and asked what was wrong with him.

He said he was running from the cops, I could hear the sirens in the distance, so I picked his bike up and told him the best way to duck away from them, because fuck the police.

My grandpa was/is one of the best drivers in the family, he's been an advanced driver* for decades now but recently it's been between jarring and outright terrifying when he drives.

He does this thing where he'll half-slow to let someone pull out ahead of him, then speed the fuck up and rev the car to death before slamming the breaks when you can see the whites of the driver's eyes in their mirror.
Then he proceeds to swear profusely about 'THESE FUCKIN LITTLE SHOITES PULL OUT LIKE IT'S THEIR GOD GIVEN ROIGHT' and rinse/repeat for the journey.

As much as I love my grandparents, he shouldn't be driving and I'm pretty sure he'd fail a test if he had to sit one tomorrow, advanced driver or not.

*Dunno if yanks call it something else, but it's basically police driver standards.
