lmao dude I'm totally calm. I just think it's dumb the way you react to really trivial stuff.

The reasons for a dual monitor setup being more useful are axiomatic.
Quote from: Aether on December 31, 2016, 02:47:32 PMThe reasons for a dual monitor setup being more useful are axiomatic.it's literally like having a book with extra-large pages, so more text can fit on them"look, i can read this book faster"no you can't, it's the same exact length
I dug my old monitor up from my closet and seeing now that I upgraded to a bigger and nice desk, I finally have the desk space for a dual monitor setup. This second monitor isn't anything special, its just a cheap Dell monitor from 2007 with DVI, where my main monitor is hooked up via HDMI.So.... Yeah. Any questions? Also if nobody cares, that's fine and dandy. I know who I am and I know what I'll always be to the community, that's why I don't come here very often anymore.

It's also nice to have a video up in one screen and normal working tabs in the other.

Quote from: Flee on December 31, 2016, 10:05:08 AMThis. More monitors is great. When I work, I never have any less than 5 Word documents open at any time. Add onto that a webpage or 2, an Excel file, an email in Outlook and 3 PDF's of legislation or literature. Constantly minimizing and enlarging is such a pain and waste of time when dealing with that many materials. We're given 2 screens by default and have the option of getting a third one as well.i never have less than 4 word documents open in my free time, and minimizing works out okay for me--and are you really saving that much time when it's physically impossible to be working on more than one document anyway? i don't think so, unless you're just bad at keeping track of your thingsgranted, i don't use excel or outlook, but even if i were as busy as you are, i simply can't look at having more than one monitor as anything greater than a ludicrously excessive "luxury"--which i can only imagine how it must look to passersby
