Better your life. Not that hard of a thing to do if you set your mind to it.

I wish it was that easy.
It's easier than you think. The fact that you think it isn't is all in your head.

How do you know?
I dealt with some pretty bad depression for about half my lifespan. Once you work past it and break through those mental barriers, it's kind of crazy how you realize that the only thing stopping you was yourself.
I see. Can I just clarify one thing? I know I don't need medication.

It can be. I know depression is hard to break out of but sitting around mopping in your own tears on the internet certainly doesn't help.

Get out. Take up an activity or two. Excericse, take meditation classes, run a marathon, do yoga, go hiking. Make goals for yourself.

Yeah depression sucks and really wears you down but you do have the ability to help yourself.

I always consider meditation as a last resort. I don't want to rely on meds period.

I get that but you should still take them. Oh and most importantly smile more. Even if you don't feel happy, just smile and be a nice and courteous person.

Do good things. Volunteer at a soup kitchen or something.

I'd much rather prefer the library.

No. Find something where you have hard work and a lot of interaction where you actually do good work.

I promise you it will help.

I don't personally believe that medication for mental problems is a good idea, aside from extreme circumstances. You get dependent on them and it doesn't solve the core issue. It's like the doctor's lazy way out in many (but not all) cases.

If I had been put on depression meds, I probably wouldn't of grown past depression and still be stuck. It's better to just work the mind through the problems and work towards self betterment. But it's a long road.

I can agree with that.

It was at JCPenny. I was in women's shoes, selling shoes.

Absolutely agreed. I don't even have a job, but I find doing stuff around the house (and especially outside) is therapeutic.

A priority should be to keep yourself busy with constructive things, and keep your mind off the stuff that drags you down. Positive thoughts and positive things. As it's been suggested multiple times in the past, websites like Sep7agon probably won't do you any good. The Flood has never really been a warm and uplifting place.

Yeah I know that. I've known The Flood since 08. I'm well aware, even if that was a different generation, that generation was actually worse.

There aren't any neighbors that want their lawns mowed. I'd mow the apartment's yard but we have gardeners come in every Tuesday, and I don't think they would be happy if I did their work.

Oh but Halo 2 Vista runs perfectly, playing it for the cheevos. It's a little better than I remember it, but maybe that's just because the Internet's faster than it was however many years ago.

Uhh...off topic, but I have a different computer and version of skype now. How did you get rid of ads on it again? The old chatlog where you told me how seems to have poofed.

Check your Skype. Same method should still work.
