I actually managed to get a job

Since my family has been having really bad financial problems. I've been looking for a job.since I'm 15 highly doubted I would be able to get one. But after two months of searching I actually managed to get a job! It's at DQ,so I will probably hate working there. But I need to if I'm going to be getting some money for my family. But what sucks is that i can only work on the weekends for obvious reasons. I also might not be on as much starting next weekend.

Most of my friends work in fast food except me.

My first job was detailing cars for a Hyundai dealership.

Sure beat the hell out of fastfood.

I wouldn't say it's rare for teens to try and get a job, it's just rare for them to actually land one because of the influx of adults being forced to take up entry level jobs.
