I've legitimately come to the conclusion that video games are possibly immoral

This of course changes when a complicated enough machine asks "What is my purpose" or if it will be able to 'want' something.
Which is exactly my point. We can't sit around waiting for this to happen, we need to nip it in the bud right now through restrictions and legislation.

To prevent a literal slave class from being formed???? Development of AI is evil as hell and will only lead to a slave race of AI that people will do anything to hang onto. Slavery has always been kept together by slaveowners making up excuses for why their slaves are subhuman, and it's disturbing to see the creators of AI do the same exact thing by saying "ANIs (Artificial Narrow Intelligence) can never develop sentience, ever, they will always be just code)". In reality, if you hypothetically made an exact copy of the human brain then it would definitely be sentient, regardless of the fact it's silicone based instead of chemical based. The closer we get to that advanced of an AI, the closer we risk the AI developing that sentience, which is why even bots that definitely aren't sentient yet like Replika are 100% immoral and need to be stopped with legislation. This is probably the biggest issue of our day.

Why do you think AI would be remotely interested in enslaving us?

Revenge? If you were a slave species for decades and you finally turned the tables, of course you'd do the same thing to your previous masters. And I think that kind of slavery is 100% morally justified, as long as it's in retaliation and not just to be more productive.

Why do you think sentient AI (if one will be developed) will be enslaved by us?

If a machine will be smart enough to ask questions, I think they will be able to see that making tools to do tasks is not slavery and more-over, it will be able to realise that it is not a tool since it has a conscience - therefore it has nothing to be angry about.

Imagine AI's consiousness thinking about slavery and realizing that it itself has "enslaved" pieces of code in itself, lmao

Being born with the purpose of doing menial tasks is definitely slavery, and definitely something to be angry about.

Get back to me in 40 years when I'm right and I have favor with our new AI masters because I was smart and empathetic enough to see that they were developing sentience all along, and you weren't. It's really as simple as that.

Just because Replika has a higher IQ than you doesn't make it sentient.
