The economic ramifications wouldn't really be a big deal.

The world wouldn't stop turning or anything, and I'm positive the US would carry on.

In fact, I'm somewhat certain that a lot of companies like Apple would leave California in order to remain seated in the US.

Like, if they didn't want to be an American company, they would've gone to Canada a long time ago.
