I watched the last fight between naruto and sausage and legit thought it could be a parody. Those two were literally flying around shooting laser beams out of a giant samurai and fox thing. Remember when the show was mostly about ninjas with knives and martial arts and a bit of goofy magic?

I don't think I've seen a single episode of this show.

The original series starts off a bit slow but post-episode 17 or so, it really picks up until 100~. I stuck with it even after that because it's pretty good still. It's more anime-y than DBZ, but also a lot better, IMO.Everybody knows Dragonball is the best anime ever made, but I'll let that slide. Has Verb watched this yet?

He said it's the best of the "Big 4" animes (One Piece, Dragon Ball, Naruto, Bleach(?)".I've seen parts of One Piece and Bleach and thought they were awful. Dragonball is alright, so maybe I'll give this show a go as well. What do I start with?

cooli never told you this, but my ACTUAL favorite episode of naruto is the one where Spoilernaruto meets his motherit hits me in a special place when he finally realizes it's herAKA episode 246 if you haven't seen it, idk if it would be considered filler or not
haven't seen anything of boruto, mostly because i thought the post-story for shippudden was the most insulting fanfiction-y thing i've ever seen (next to harry potter and the cursed child), but it's technically on the list
Sure.

I was watching it with my buddy and I paused the episode to explain that I missed the days of grounded somewhat realistic ninjutsu. It's a lot more jarring if you don't watch all the follow up, because the show admittedly does ease us into it well.

I did like that after all that they basically recreated their original fight in that valley without all the magic stuff.
Just to be clear, I might quit out after a few episodes, so don't make your own filler list just for me. :p
I have no Crunchyroll or Netflix. Anyplace else I can just stream it?
>32 volumes and still nowhere close to being doneI think I'll stick to trying to recollect the manga volumes. Quote from: Snake on September 06, 2017, 02:54:02 PM
I'm collecting the 3-in-1 volumes for the sake of storage space. They're releasing Volume 20 in October, which includes manga volumes 58, 59, 60. There are 72 volumes in total, and Volume 19 was released in July. So again, if we highball about 15 weeks in between each release, since there's only 4 volumes left to complete the manga, we have about 13 months to go before they finish releasing the 3-in-1 manga collection. I'm okay with waiting.
I was just gonna get the three super box sets. While they take up a lot of space I like the individual cover art on them.
