There's dehydration, and there's overhydration.

While getting dehydrated is difficult if you drink like a glas of water and eat healthy, overhydration is a more likely thing to happen. Usually athletes get it, but I can imagine that one would get it if they had a water bottle with them all the time.

If you wanna be healthy, just drink whenever you're thirsty, and don't drink when you're not.

tbh if you only drink when you're thirsty you're kinda behind the game there. Hydration should occur periodically throughout the day, not en masse when you body starts to tell you that you're in need of water.

I don't know, man, whenever I eat I get thirsty. I'm not sure if it's actual thirst or a need to cleanse my palate, but I always drink water after eating.

Just means your body discharges overabundant liquid (duh) instead of using it for other less and more important bodily functions such as sweating, cleansing, etc.

You won't have to worry about it much since you'll probably fall back into a drinking habit appropriate for your body and yourself.

I'm not at risk of overhydration or water poisoning, I'm not maniacally downing a liter of water per minute or anything. I just had a few more drinks than usual.

As far as I am concerned try to keep it clear, but not too clear. You will know when you are over hydrated when you pass too much. I usually drink to make sure my piss is clear knowing I eat a lot of salt and usually have less clear piss. I don't know why but I feel the high volume will help me avoid kidney stones. As long as my pass is clear.
