I get payed hourly, 8-5 M-F $10 an hour. So how are you guys making money?

I start training for a job at a supermarket on Monday. Nothing right now though.

What do you do? I work part time in a meat department.

Uhh pretty much this, interning at a local university over the summer and I just do whatever they can give me. Usually it amounts to copying papers, organizing invoices or helping run tests on pollen and seeds. But a lot of it is nothing

Man I didn't know it's still Standard time in the East. I wish the rest would get rid of Daylight savings time.

I know doing nothing for money sounds good, but that would kill me. I like having things to keep me occupied.

I get that, it's really dull most of the time. I'd honestly prefer to be working to earn this money instead of sitting on my ass for it

posting on forums from 9 to 5 because i've got no work to do. not a bad way to get paid tbh. and when work does come, it's usually in small bursts and i'm right back to posting on forums after that. (i work in online course production for my uni).

it's supposed to pick up big time in august, tho. looking forward to it since the days drag on right now.
