Let me be clear here, I do kinda have a speech impediment. You won't see it my typing or casual conversation(mostly), however if I have to explain something or give a speech. It's like my mind shuts off completely. I can't find the right words or how to say them, even if I know exactly what to say my mouth won't do what I want it to. It's extremely frustrating to try to teach someone something when I can't even speak.

Is there any ways to fix this that don't include drugs or therapy? Just some simple exercises or little tricks that can help with this issue? I'm honestly sick of this and want to be able to speak in a normal fashion.

It's called forcing yourself to talk.

It's not that easy.

Me talking isn't just "talk", it's trying so hard to say the right thing, and end up fucking it up anyways.

I had to do tongue exercises and shit like that when I was young to help me with pronunciation. Can't recall any of the specifics of them though.

I wouldn't say the issue is how I say it. Because overall I say things like anyone else would.

My problem is when my mind goes suddenly blank. Then I begin to stutter and my train of thought breaks. Making me have to take a step back and try to make something on the fly. Usually I apologize and say I can't speak as a joke. Even though it literally is me being unable to speak.

That's what i've been doing, and it has made the issue more apparent and made me want to fix it so badly.

I have never been clinically diagnosed with one, however it's so obvious in how I talk I know it's an issue.

But if you want one, I guess you can say stuttering.

My parents put me in a speech class in elementary school to get my mumbling fixed, but it didn't really help 'cause I still tend to mumble if I don't really think about it.
