Growing up/coming of age in the 70's would've legit been the fucking dream though (for those who missed the draft in the US). No decade was perfect by any means but fucking imagine being able to go straight into an unskilled job out of school without fuss or being fucked around perpetually by incompetent HR, earning an income a third of the median house price in an absolute prime location. Don't even get me started on the easy access to some of the fastest appreciating cars known to man, Woodstock and the lax road safety laws.
