Just watch Spy instead.

Also, the movie happened because people were retarded. If I were there, I'd have said one thing that'd have stopped the movie from progressing, and if that one guy hadn't done that one thing he wouldn't have made the movie happen. Sure it'd have killed the hero, but at that point in the story we barely knew the hero, and  bla bla bla

It was "meh" for me. Some cool ideas but very poor execution and little to no suspense.

It also amazes me how 20+ years later, the effects from the original still are leagues better.

You can't beat a combination of practical and CGI effects man. Merge the two together just right and you'll have something that can stand the test of time.

Case and point. Terminator 2.

His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.

All you need to know is that Jurassic Park ended with a lot of people dying each time it opened

Bam, you're set for the movie.

Fury Road is a contemporary example of the two meshing well together.

Went to the theater with my parents. Only seats available are the very front. Shit, I can't watch like that...I don't know anyone that would want to and don't get how some do, so we got a refund.

Just seen it.  Thought the kids were horribly written (though i can't think of a movie where kids aren't annoying pos).

Spoiler
Thought it was good up until the end.  I couldn't maintain suspension of disbelief with that woman out running a T-Rex in heels for like 800ft and the lone raptor tagging in to help Big T get back up.  I liked how Spike died though.

Also, the transition of how the raptors acted to Pratt was poorly done.  From trying to eat him to hunting, back to e
trying to eating him then after they catch him staring into his eyes and turning good again.

7/10

First JP is 9/10 in comparison.

Spoiler
They didn't straight up want to eat him in the cage, he got between them and their "food". Even after the Indominus Rex became the alpha, the raptor in the field (the one that got blown up by an RPG) didn't make any attempt to attack him. At the end, when it was literally him or the Rex, they chose the one they had imprinted on when they were hatched: Owen.

Spoiler
also Blue is the real MVP

Spoiler
They were going to kill him, hence why he made sure to dive to safety and they lunged at him.  Just because they didn't instantly attack him doesn't mean they were pals.  At the end, the one raptor waited to eat the fat guy when he put his hand up to plead as well, before eating his arm off and the rest of him.

Not really the tone I got from that scene.  It got blown up too soon.

The fact that the raptors were chasing them to eat them moments prior makes the 180 finale moment where they decide to sacrifice themselves seem outta place.

Then there is the team up with the T-rex and raptors who can't communicate, and eventually decide to go seperate ways after the battle like they're rival, like they're not just to strangers who just met.
