One of them was stupid and absent-minded enough to put a glass back into the cupboard in just the right way, so that when I opened the cupboard it came toppling down.

It smashed on the counter and left cuts all down my upper leg.

I can't think of a time my parents have done anything that bad, but I did manage to stab myself once. When I was a child I put a cardboard storage lid on my lap and started poking holes in in. Unfortunately I forgot that my legs were on the other side.

I USUALLY GET BURNED WHEN I HURT MYSELF. BEING SHORTER THAN THE COUNTER AND TRYING TO GET A COOKIE THAT JUST CAME OUT OF THE OVEN. BLISTERS IN THE ARMPIT SUCK.
THE BURNER ON THE STOVE WAS A LITTLE CROOKED. I HAD NO IDEA THAT IT WAS ON.
THERE WAS ANOTHER TIME WHERE ALL I REMEMBER WAS SEEING SOMETHING GLOWING RED IN A CAR AND THINKING "OOOH SHINY I WONDER WHAT IT FEELS LIKE." BURNS ON THE END OF MY FINGER ARE REALLY BAD BECAUSE I LIKE TO TOUCH STUFF. I STILL FEEL AN URGE TO TOUCH ALL THE SHINY STUFF THAT I SEE. VERY DISTRACTING WHEN I TRY TO COOK.
