Anyone think this has any chance of missing that turn? I don't want another Katrina. Flooding is one thing. It sucked, that's what happened to New Orleans. But where I live, the town was wiped off the map. You know, 30 foot waves and all. Railroad tracks ripped apart, bridges demolished. There's still abandoned homes and empty lots with concrete slabs. We don't need another.

Hopefully it doesn't spin and hit Virginia.

Luckily for me, even in the great state of FL, I live in central. Only twenty minutes from Orlando. No flooding here, just really fucking annoying wind and rain. Not to mention that even if it does go right over the entire state, by the time the eye reaches me the winds will have been neutered plenty.
