But Star Wars is probably going to be jammed well into January so I might as well go whenever

not only is it a fad, you're effectively watching a poorer-quality showing. 3D washes the color out. James Cameron's Avatar was made with bright, saturated colors in order to counteract this effect, but most other filmmakers don't take this into consideration.
Well that, and I wear glasses so it's really uncomfortable to watch 3D movies.

I thought I bought IMAX tickets but they are just regular 3d tickets. they didn't put the IMAX tickets on sale until today and they sold out in like 5 minutes. only two showings too, that was a bit surprising.

So much for free stuff now :/

Friend and his group I was supposed to see it with haven't gotten back, lol. That was expected. Luckily I bought a backup ticket at another theater, and it's three hours earlier. I'm going to leave in a few hours even though it's at 7. Seeing it alone...guess it's just my destiny. And i'd be able to enjoy it better anyways, and get a better seat.
