How does this place compare to old Flood?

Flood V2 isn't raiding The Flood. There isn't enough coup rainbow vomit. There aren't at least 7-8 furry threads posted daily. No one has started a cult yet. Two week bans aren't issued out for replying to spam. There are no GBTTH3F posts. Christmas passed with no Schippy Tree threads.

There was a larger community. You didn't have as much circle jerk and drama on the old flood. There were tons of popularity threads though (but it was over long standing members, not newfomans who get popular only because they spend their lives on the forum and shitpost in every thread). Also gaming stuff was included with off-topic but political/religious stuff wasn't allowed so it evened out.

Private groups were a bigger deal. There was a bungie community forum that was actually alive because Bungie didn't hate their older community yet. DeeJ was cooler, Urk posted more, Achronos wasn't MIA (b.next is so big now he can't really spend time in offtopic. He threatened to nuke old flood. Was fun).

The old Bnet had its ups and downs but the community was way better back then. It might have been a little more strict, but the lack of political/religion threads was something I enjoyed.

Except the Reach Forum. We don't like to talk about the Reach Forum.

I like this site a lot because its almost the same as Bnet Old but with its own qualities, like having your own avatar and stuff.

If there's one thing I miss from Bnet Old, it was the ranks. I was so close to getting Mythic and then the update happened. I was pissed off for the longest time.
