how close are you with your family?

Do you have a strong relationship with your siblings? Immediate relatives? Parents?

Over this past year I've noticed my relationship with my older brothers and my parents becoming increasingly stronger. I think that since I've grown up and continued to mature, I've started to appreciate my family and the special bond that we all share.

Strong bonds with all of them, except for one of my sisters, she chose her abusive, manipulative, meth adddict boyfriend over us, and I haven't seen her since she left. We tried to get her to see what he was doing to her, but she ignored us. soon after, the courts kicked her boyfriend out after my sister's 9 year old daughter called the cops and got him thrown in the slammer... my mother took over custody of my sister's daughter after they found her OD'd in a bathtub, and then she moved.

I'd say I'm close with my parents.

Usually only text my little sister like twice a month. We get along great as long as we're away from each other. We fought like crazy growing up though. Mostly live our own lives now.

I've been moving every couple years. Lots of traveling. Some international, so I miss holidays and stuff like that.

I have pretty strong relationships with all my family. The best one is with my little sister as we have the basically the same personality and tastes.
Im ok with my parents and older brother and sister. Their kids love me to the point of suffocation.

Nothing with my dad or that side of the family.
It can be kinda awkward with my mom and sister.
And its not any better with my mom's side of the family, being her two brothers and father (I don't know anyone beyond that).

No siblings. Father is a prick, mother is nice. Not particularly close with either.

Probably doesn't help that I have literally nothing in common with either of them. No shared interests.

Strong with my Mom's side: Brother, mom, grandparents, one aunt and uncle.
The rest live in Louisiana, so we visit once a year. Not as close, but we love em

Dad's side? I'll see if I can survive Thanksgiving before passing judgement.

I get on well with my mother, my dad... Not so much. Although we can put up with each other.
No siblings and the rest of my family are just acquaintances.

I'm extremely close to my sister. I don't see my parents often because of their work, but I like to think that hasn't changed anything. My father is more caring and naive whereas my mother is pretty brutal, she loves us but shows it in such a way it almost feels like we're never good enough. Still...

I was pretty close to my big brother too.

My dad was practically an acquaintance to me, despite the fact I lived with him for so long. I can't say I'm close with my mom either, but more so than my dad. I don't really talk to my family at all. I do have one cousin who I actually get along well with, but he lives in Mexico, so yea. There's my little sister, but shes still little, I care for her but it'll probably be until shes older for us to have more of a bond.

I'm closer to my brother than anyone else in my family, and I tend to over defend him a lot for the shitty things in his past. I guess I just feel bad for him and don't want him to suffer any more, he's gone through a lot. Also he says I'm the only one he really likes.

Pretty close. I talk to my parents maybe once a week or so, and my brother every time I happen to cath him online when I'm playing games.

It's kinda ironic but I've gotten more close to my Dad since my parents divorced. Before I wouldn't see or interact with him as much as I do now. Sort of a silver lining.

Hard to say. Love my dad, but we rarely speak as much as my mom and me. Sister is good.
