Cut off drinking about three weeks ago, but recently things have been getting progressively awful. Every night I only am able to sleep three hours, and sweating so terrible I have to change sheets. I similarly have nightmares where I die every single time. My hands, arms, legs, limbs* have have either been shaking uncontrollably or have gone numb. That said happened at work where I was almost ready to black out. I also taste blood, like half the time.

Is this liver failure? My best friends girlfriend said it might be anxiety due to stress, but I can't afford to see a doctor.

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
Sounds more anxiety than liver disease.
Three weeks would be an awfully long time for alcohol withdrawl to still  present symptoms too, but it isn't unheard of in the realm of medical anomalies.

Get of my lawn
Those are pretty non-specific symptoms. The most concerning are the shakes and night sweats. I would go in, were I you

Do you exercise? A good jog at sunset usually helps me relax before bed.

It never hurts to get a check up with the doctor if you think there might be something wrong with you, and it would probably help out your mind at ease and heck maybe some medicine to tune down your (what I suspect to be) anxiety.

Alcohol withdrawal is no joke, but it's usually over after a week. Still, I'd see your PCP or go to an urgent care with those symptoms.

Try to visit a doctor and/or to have someone reliable by your side if possible. Try to not stress out yourself. Sitting on a bench near your house and breathing fresh air can be useful too. Do deep breathes.
